Rich is an experienced technical manager and technician who is passionate about high quality and world leading arts, productions and spaces. Through extensive experience, training and professional development he maintains his technical proﬁciency at the forefront of the industry. His previous roles included technical planning and implementation, budgeting and finance responsibilities, event and crew management for the Sydney Opera House and being the final point of contact and decision maker for all audio requirements at Marina Bay Sands (Singapore)
Rich’s passion is to design spaces that enhance the user’s experience by embracing technological challenges. His key strengths lie in integrating the fields of acoustics, technical design, specification and project management. He believes strongly that stakeholder consultation and design team collaboration are key elements to a successful project.
Rich’s sound engineering work includes design, implementation and operation as a mixing engineer for numerous bands and festivals from community halls to large scale stadia deployments
Rich joined the Marshall Day design team in May 2019 and brings a great depth of experience in the implementation of audio systems across multiple major international venues.
